Biography CLOSE THE FULL BIOGRAPHY

With a maturity and onscreen presence well beyond her age, teen actress AnnaSophia Robb built up an impressive résumé in a very short amount of time. Starring in her first feature film, "Because of Winn-Dixie" (2005), at the age of nine, Robb proved she had a natural onscreen charm. Whether starring in the imaginative family film "Bridge to Terabithia" (2007) or appearing opposite Academy Award-winning actresses Hilary Swank in "The Reaping" (2007) or Charlize Theron in "Sleepwalking" (2008), Robb showed that she could hold her own on the big screen, securing a spot as one of Hollywood's talented young actresses to watch. From there, she showed her adventurous side in "Race to Witch Mountain" (2009) and delivered a strong dramatic performance as a young girl who rebuilds her life after losing an arm to a shark attack in "Soul Surfer" (2011). Meanwhile, she secured the coveted role of a young Carrie Bradshaw in "The Carrie Diaries" (The CW, 2013- ), a prequel to "Sex and the City" (HBO, 1998-2004) that cemented Robb as an accomplished young actress with her star undeniably on the rise.
