Lee Richardson was a prolific actor who created a name for himself largely on the big screen. In his early acting career, Richardson appeared in such films as the dramatic adaptation "Middle of the Night" (1959) with Kim Novak, the Robert Redford drama "Brubaker" (1980) and "Prince of the City" (1981) with Treat Williams. He also appeared in the thriller "I Am the Cheese" (1983) with Robert MacNaughton and the Timothy Hutton drama "Daniel" (1983). He kept working in film throughout the eighties, starring in "Prizzi's Honor" (1985), the drama "Sweet Lorraine" (1987) with Maureen Stapleton and the Jamie Lee Curtis fantastical drama "Amazing Grace and Chuck" (1987). He also appeared in the suspenseful adaptation "The Believers" (1987) with Martin Sheen. Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the Eric Stoltz horror sequel "The Fly II" (1989), the Nick Nolte drama "Q&A" (1990) and "William Peter Blatty's The Exorcist III" (1990). He also appeared in the drama "A Stranger Among Us" (1992) with Melanie Griffith. He held additional roles in television including a part on "Law & Order" (NBC, 1990-2010).
