Christopher Rhodes worked in a variety of genres and built up a diverse and reputable career. Rhodes kickstarted his acting career in various films such as "Betrayed" (1954) with Clark Gable, "Dunkirk" (1958) and "Night Ambush" (1958). He also appeared in the action movie "John Paul Jones" (1959) with Robert Stack. His film career continued throughout the fifties and the sixties in productions like the action flick "Shake Hands With the Devil" (1959) with James Cagney, the John Mills dramatic adaptation "Tiger Bay" (1959) and the Robert Mitchum dramatic adaptation "A Terrible Beauty" (1960). He also appeared in "Operation Amsterdam" (1960). During the latter part of his career, he tackled roles in "El Cid" (1961) with Charlton Heston, the Bill Travers sci-fi flick "Gorgo" (1961) and the dramatic adaptation "The Guns of Navarone" (1961) with Gregory Peck. He also appeared in the dramatic adaptation "Becket" (1964) with Richard Burton. Rhodes also acted in "The Colditz Story."
