    Here was a fine actress who portrayed noble, honest, hard working women and her career is cut short because she won't bow to the tyranny of the time. The life of Anne Revere and her fellow actors that were persecuted at that sad time in our country, needs to be celebrated. If only to remind us today what can happen if we don't protect our freedoms.

  • A Certain Magnetism

    Every time I saw Anne Revere I have always felt a "Certain Magnetism". Although her Career has been filled with small Roles she acted well and yet there was more than this. She seems to capture the Screen every moment you see her. Hers was a Tragedy when she was Blacklisted and ended her Career.
