    michael rennie was born in 1909 in wales. he performed in british films before crossing the atlantic. in hollywood he was under Cntract to fox studios. he had an excellent speaKING VOICE AS MOST CELTS SEEM TO HAVE BEEN BORN WITH. MICHAEL HAD A LIKEABLE PERSONALITY.

    He was a wonderful actor, it was he who made the sci-fi movie "The Day The Earth Stood Still" work. He was a lead role as the alien representative. This movie was priceless and very possibly helped influence world policy on nuclear weapons. His voice was perfect for the role. He had a very intelligent edge and a calm confidence in his acting which made him special. I was only just being born when these movies came out and yet I will remember him forever.
