Brother-in-law of actress Marion Davies and brother of actor Pedro Regas. George was a stage actor in Athens before coming to the U.S. as Romeo in a Grecian version of Romeo and Juliet, which he performed in New York. Regas played character parts in numerous films, many of them uncredited. Regas often played Latinos, Native Americans or Italians.
