As a musician, Nick Lowe's entertaining and creative music was in a variety of Hollywood productions. Lowe began his entertainment career with his music featured in films like "Rock 'n' Roll High School" (1979) with P.J. Soles, the comedy "Easy Money" (1983) with Rodney Dangerfield and the musical "Absolute Beginners" (1986) with Eddie O'Connell. His music also appeared in the comedy "Planes, Trains and Automobiles" (1987) with Steve Martin, the Kiefer Sutherland drama "1969" (1988) and the Fred Savage comedy adventure "Little Monsters" (1989). In the nineties, Lowe's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like the dramedy "Singles" (1992) with Bridget Fonda, "The Bodyguard" (1992) with Kevin Costner and "Hope Floats" (1998) with Sandra Bullock. Lowe's music was also featured in the Jennifer Lopez drama "Angel Eyes" (2001), the Hugh Laurie comedic adaptation "Maybe Baby" (2001) and the Scarlett Johansson dramatic comedy "Lost In Translation" (2003). His music was also featured in "In the Land of Women" (2007). Lowe's music was most recently featured in the Bradley Cooper blockbuster comedy sequel "The Hangover Part II" (2011).
