A bookish billionaire, Charles Morse, accompanies his younger model wife, Mickey, to Alaska for a photo shoot. When fashion photographer Robert Green and his assistant Stephen set out on a private plane in search of an Indian to pose for the shoot, Charles comes along for the ride. Stranded after the plane crashes into a lake, the men must formulate a strategy to survive and it is Charles, with his book smarts, who devises many of the best ideas. Stephen, whose bleeding leg attracks a Kodiak bear, is killed leaving only Charles and Robert to continue.
