Shannon Woodward began her slow-burning career on "Clarissa Explains It All" (Nickelodeon 1991-94) but only made her first real impact over a decade later when she was cast as the teenage daughter in con artist drama, "The Riches" (FX 2007-08). Woodward then continued to build on her potential with roles in several teen horrors and indie drama "Girlfriend" (2010) before charming mainstream audiences as sardonic grocery store clerk Sabrina in hit sitcom "Raising Hope" (Fox 2010-14).Born in Phoenix, AZ in December 1984, Shannon Marie Woodward developed an interest in acting when she moved to Boca Raton, Florida with her family at a young age and first appeared on screen as Missy in "Clarissa Explains It All" (Nickelodeon 1991-94). Woodward then joined her former co-star Melissa Joan Hart in the made-for-TV movie "Family Reunion: A Relative Nightmare" (1995), but then spent the next ten years struggling to make a name for herself with minor roles in the likes of "Malcolm In The Middle" (Fox 2000-06), "Without A Trace" (CBS 2002-09) and "Boston Public" (Fox 2000-04).But after playing Tommy Lee Jones' daughter in the cheerleading action comedy "Man Of The House" (2005), Woodward's career began to gather...

Shannon Woodward began her slow-burning career on "Clarissa Explains It All" (Nickelodeon 1991-94) but only made her first real impact over a decade later when she was cast as the teenage daughter in con artist drama, "The Riches" (FX 2007-08). Woodward then continued to build on her potential with roles in several teen horrors and indie drama "Girlfriend" (2010) before charming mainstream audiences as sardonic grocery store clerk Sabrina in hit sitcom "Raising Hope" (Fox 2010-14).

Born in Phoenix, AZ in December 1984, Shannon Marie Woodward developed an interest in acting when she moved to Boca Raton, Florida with her family at a young age and first appeared on screen as Missy in "Clarissa Explains It All" (Nickelodeon 1991-94). Woodward then joined her former co-star Melissa Joan Hart in the made-for-TV movie "Family Reunion: A Relative Nightmare" (1995), but then spent the next ten years struggling to make a name for herself with minor roles in the likes of "Malcolm In The Middle" (Fox 2000-06), "Without A Trace" (CBS 2002-09) and "Boston Public" (Fox 2000-04).

But after playing Tommy Lee Jones' daughter in the cheerleading action comedy "Man Of The House" (2005), Woodward's career began to gather pace and she finally achieved her big break when she was cast as Eddie Izzard and Minnie Driver's crafty daughter Di Di Malloy in the critically-acclaimed but poorly-rated "The Riches" (FX 2007-08). Appearances in teen horrors "The Haunting Of Molly Hartley" (2008) and "The Shortcut" (2009) shortly followed, while Woodward then went onto receive praise for her portrayal of young mother Candy in the indie drama "Girlfriend" (2010).

But after returning to TV with a recurring role as Nurse Samantha Taggart's younger sister, Kelly, in the final season of "ER" (NBC 1994-2009), Woodward then landed her most high-profile gig when she was cast as Sabrina Collins, the mischievous grocery store clerk who later marries clueless single father Jimmy in the offbeat sitcom "Raising Hope" (Fox 2010-14). Following a cameo in her long-time best friend's cinematic outing "Katy Perry: Part Of Me" (2012), Woodward continued to showcase her talent on the big screen with roles in comedy dramas "Adult World" (2012) and "Claire's Cambodia" (2013).
