    Sounds like Edna didn't give old Charlie his way all the time and he was a jealous type who did love her, hence not releasing her last film as a star in which he produced and having the negative destroyed. Kind of interesting I think? I enjoy her acting although in the Silent Era if you are not a star it's hard to really give you a Grade A rating, kind of a B or C as far as your ability to rate I think, at least before the talkies came out. I respect her for keeping her real name, that is cool! From the way it looks she did what Chaplin wanted her to do, then when he was through with her he black balled her it appears to me. Kind of a sad story.
