Pressburger participated in productions of over 200 films in Hollywood, Austria, Germany, France and Britain. He began producing films in 1909 in Austria and moved to Germany in 1925 and in 1930 to Great Britain. He founded the British Cine Alliance in 1934 and in 1941, formed Arnold Productions for United Artists. Pressburger was producing and Peter Lorre was directing a film entitled "The Lost One," when Pressburger died from a stroke.
