"Sonny Williams" (Clyde Bowie) was born on September 6, 1933 in Pisgah, Maryland. When he was approximately 16 years old, his mother gave him his very first guitar. In his spare time, he played music with close friends and toured the United States. He contributed to the soundtrack of the Jack Nicholson movie "Five Easy Pieces". When touring in Chicago, he met his wife Donna, whom he was married to for 49 years. Sonny Williams passed away on May 30, 2008. He is remembered as a caring, jovial, and talented person and musician.
