Leonard Penn was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. In his early acting career, Penn appeared in such films as the Jeanette MacDonald musical "The Firefly" (1937), "Between Two Women" (1937) and the comedy "Man-Proof" (1938) with Myrna Loy. He also appeared in the drama "Judge Hardy's Children" (1938) with Lewis Stone, the Norma Shearer period drama "Marie Antoinette" (1938) and "The Toy Wife" (1938). His film career continued throughout the thirties and the forties in productions like "Bachelor Mother" (1939) with Ginger Rogers, the Freddie Stewart musical "High School Hero" (1946) and "Brick Bradford" (1948). He also appeared in the George Reeves adventure "Adventures of Sir Galahad" (1949). In the latter half of his career, he continued to act in the adventure "King of the Congo" (1952) with Buster Crabbe, "Barbed Wire" (1952) with Gene Autry and "Outlaw Women" (1952). He also appeared in the adventure "Savage Mutiny" (1953) with Johnny Weissmuller and "King Richard and the Crusaders" (1954) starring Rex Harrison. Penn more recently acted in the mystery adaptation "To Catch a Thief" (1955) with Cary Grant. Penn was married to Gladys George. Penn passed away in May...
