Clark Terry was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Early on, Terry mostly landed roles in various films, including "The Great Rocky Mountain Jazz Party" (1977), the Quincy Jones documentary "Listen Up" (1990) and the documentary "Texas Tenor: The Illinois Jacquet Story" (1992) with Illinois Jacquet. He appeared in a number of television specials, including "A Duke Named Ellington" (PBS, 1987-88) and "An American Reunion: The 52nd Presidential Inaugural Gala" (CBS, 1992-93). In the nineties, he acted in "The Cosby Mysteries" (NBC, 1994-95) and "Cosby" (CBS, 1996-2000). He also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "A Salute to the Newport Jazz Festival" (PBS, 1993-94) and "Nissan Presents: The 2nd Annual Celebration of America's Music" (ABC, 1997-98). Terry had a number of different projects under his belt in the nineties and the early 2000s, including "The 41st Annual Grammy Awards" (CBS, 1998-99), "Jazz" (PBS, 2000-01) and "VH1 Divas Live: The One and Only Aretha Franklin -- A Benefit Concert For VH1 Save the Music Foundat" (VH1, 2000-01). His credits also expanded to "Michael Jackson: 30th Anniversary Celebration" (CBS, 2001-02), "Criminal" (2004) starring...
