George Ovey was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Ovey began his career with a role in the Jack Oakie adaptation "Hit the Deck" (1930). Ovey then began to rack up a number of film credits, including roles in "Night Ride" (1930) and "Alice in Wonderland" (1933). Later in his career, Ovey acted in "Act of Violence" (1948). Ovey passed away in September 1951 at the age of 81.
