Parrish Smith worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. Smith marked his early career with roles in the Omar Epps dramatic musical "Juice" (1992), the documentary "Rhyme & Reason" (1997) with Busta Rhymes and "Compositions" (PBS, 1998-99). Smith also appeared in "Nelly's Bodega" (PBS, 2000-01), "Black Filmmaker Showcase" and "Beyond Beats and Rhymes: A Hip-Hop Weighs in on Manhood in Hip-Hop Culture" (PBS, 2006-07). He also worked on "Too Saved" with Lolita Clayton (2007) and "Nocturnal Agony" (2014) starring Vernée Watson-Johnson. More recently, Smith directed "The Scroll: Transformation" (2014).
