Carol Ohmart was widely known for her acting on the big screen. Ohmart worked on a variety of projects during her early entertainment career, including "The Lux Video Theater" (CBS, 1950-1960), "Matinee Theater" (NBC, 1955-58) and "The Scarlet Hour" (1956). She went on to act in "The Wild Party" (1956), "House on Haunted Hill" (1958) and "Born Reckless" (1959) with Mamie Van Doren. She also appeared in the Don Murray dramatic adaptation "One Man's Way" (1964), "Get Smart" (CBS, 1965-1970) and "The Spectre Of Edgar Allan Poe" (1974). Later in her career, Ohmart acted in "Spider Baby" (1994).

Born in Salt Lake City, Utah on July 3, 1927 to actor-turned-dentest C. Thomas Ohmart & Armelia (Merle) Ohmart, (Armelia) Carol Ohmart is also the grand-daughter of Robert Sweeten, One of the first Mormon Pioneers to "reach the Valley" Carol attended Lewis & Clark High School in Spokane Wash. and was crowned "Miss Utah" at the Utah State fair in 1945. She studied music & dramatics and moved to New York City with her mother in the late 40's.After working in Broadway's "Kismet", Carol moved to Hollywood in Jan. 55. She married Ken Grayson on 8/17/49, Annulled in 1951, Married William Strange a.k.a. Wm.Preston on 11/25/56 who changed his name to Wade Preston, and divorced on 7/18/58. She remarried in 1978. Carol went on to do films such as "The Wild Party"(1956), "House on Haunted Hill"(1958), "Spider Baby"(1968) and "The Spectre of Edgar Allan Poe"(1974) among others.
