Actor Al Smith appeared in a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. Smith began his acting career with roles in such films as "Dog Justice" (1928), "Fury of the Wild" (1929) and "Outlawed" (1929) with Tom Mix. He also appeared in "The Drifter" (1929) with Tom Mix, "Shadow Ranch" (1930) with Buck Jones and the Harry Carey western "Border Devils" (1932). His film career continued throughout the thirties and the eighties in productions like the Ken Maynard western "Dynamite Ranch" (1932), the Buck Jones western "Hello, Trouble" (1932) and "The Last Man" (1932). He also appeared in the western "The Thrill Hunter" (1933) with Buck Jones. Smith's music was most recently featured in "I Don't Know How She Does It" (2011). Smith had a number of different projects under his belt in the nineties, including "Mariah Carey" (NBC, 1993-94), "Mariah Carey: Daydream From New York to Tokyo" (Fox, 1995-96) and "Grosse Pointe Blank" with John Cusack (1997). His credits also expanded to "Gloria Estefan, Caribbean Soul: The Atlantis Concert" (CBS, 1999-2000), "Marc Anthony: The Concert From Madison Square Garden" (HBO, 1999-2000) and "Office Space" (1999).
