COMPLETE FILMOGRAPHY WITH SYNOPSIS
Film Production - Main (feature film)
Lincoln High's A-Cheerleading Squad is your typical group of mall-going, pizza-eating, boy-chasing 21st century American teenagers living on the edge of perfection. Sure, each member has her foibles. Diane, the captain of the squad who is madly in love with Lincoln High star quarterback Jack Bartlett, has nuclear-powered enthusiasm. Hannah is righteously born-again. Kansas, the rebel whose mother is doing time in the local prison, can't help but talk trashy. Lucy is a geek obsessed with going to Harvard. And Cleo has fantasies of stalking Conan O'Brien. High school is mostly heaven for these paragons of teenage bliss - until Jack and Diane find themselves in an unexpected adult situation, and in desperate need of extra cash. In order to help their friend Diane, the A-Squad goes where no cheerleader has gone before: taking on a little after-school project known as bank robbery. But like five Bonnies without a Clyde, the A-Squad does things their way - with a little sugar and a lot of spice.
Hank Mitchell has an apparently perfect small-town life, complete with steady job and a pregnant wife. The only cloud on his horizon is his half-witted brother Jacob and his redneck pal, who clearly resent him. The three of them stumble by chance on a crashed plane containing a charred body and $4 million in a bag. They decide to keep the money -- it is a victimless theft after all -- but the simple plan begins to unravel. The police become suspicious, Jacob talks too much, and events soon spiral out of control.
Summertime has come to Wabasha, Minnesota, and mosquito-slapping in canoes has replaced shivering in ice shanties as the local fishing ritual. Even the decades-old battle of one-upmanship between next-door neighbors John Gustafson and Max Goldman has mellowed. With John happily and newly married to Ariel, Max is left without a sparring partner. Until the arrival of Maria Ragetti who has taken over Chuck's legendary bait store and has the unspeakable, sacrilegious notion to threaten the cherished fishing hole and its rustic way of life by converting the store into a romantic Italian ristorante. To keep that from happening, John and Max begin a strategic campaign of innuendo, gossip and sabotage that spreads quickly through town. But the pair aren't prepared for the fortitude of Maria, who has no intention of surrendering so easily. As she returns their volleys, insult-for-insult and prank-for-prank, not only does she threaten to win the war, but to win Max's heart as well.
