Wilfred North was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. North received his start directing films, including work on "Indiscretion" (1916) with William Addison Lathrop and "Over the Top" (1918). North made film his next project, appearing in the J Warren Kerrigan adventure "Captain Blood" (1924), "The Bush Leaguer" (1927) and the dramatic adaptation "The Trial of Mary Dugan" (1929) with Norma Shearer. Later in his career, North acted in "The Widow in Scarlet" (1932).
