Alison Sealy-Smith found incredible success as an accomplished actress, appearing in a variety of films throughout her Hollywood career. At the start of her acting career, Sealy-Smith starred in dramas like "Rude" (1996) starring Maurice Dean Wint and "Down in the Delta" (1998) starring Alfre Woodard. She additionally landed roles in the TV movies "Friends at Last" (CBS, 1994-95) and "Ms. Scrooge" (USA, 1997-98). Sealy-Smith also brought characters to life with her vocal talents in "Silver Surfer" (Fox, 1997-98). She kept working in film throughout the nineties and the early 2000s, starring in "Loser" (2000), "Honey" (2003) and the Lindsay Lohan comedy adaptation "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen" (2004). Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Love Songs" (Showtime, 1998-99). Film continued to be her passion as she played roles in the biographical drama "Take the Lead" (2006) with Antonio Banderas, the romantic comedy "You Kill Me" (2007) with Ben Kingsley and the biopic drama "Talk to Me" (2007) with Don Cheadle.
