Nevins portrayed Janet Bouvier Auchincloss, First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy's half-sister, in the 1981 TV biopic "Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy" and kept a steady stream of TV and movies appearances through the rest of the decade.
