Charlie Murphy was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Murphy began his acting career appearing in various films, such as "Harlem Nights" (1989), the Denzel Washington dramedy "Mo' Better Blues" (1990) and the Wesley Snipes drama "Jungle Fever" (1991). He also appeared in the comedy "CB4" (1993) with Chris Rock. His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the comedy "King's Ransom" (2005) with Donald Faison, "Roll Bounce" (2005) and the Ben Stiller blockbuster comedy adventure "Night at the Museum" (2006). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "Frankenhood" (2009), "Our Family Wedding" (2010) with Forest Whitaker and the comedy "Lottery Ticket" (2010) with Bow Wow. He also appeared in "Co2" (2011). Murphy most recently acted on "Happy Valley" (BBC 1, 2014-).
