Tony Scott ( 2006-03-17 )

Source: The Stars of Hollywood Forever

Born: January 12, 1907 Mt. Vernon, NY
Died: November 30, 1941 Los Angeles, CA
The son of Broadway actors William Morris and Etta Hawkins and the brother of actor Chester, writer Gordon and stage actress Willy Morris, Adrian played on the legit stage until 1929 when he entered motion pictures. Morris most often played minor roles in films and is probably best remembered as the carpet bagger who promised the newly freed slaves `forty acres and a mule' in the classic film "Gone with the Wind." Morris died a few days before he was to begin filming a gangster movie, “I Live on Danger.”
