Milburn Morante was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Morante began his acting career appearing in various films, such as "The Desperate Game" (1925), "Wolf Blood" (1925) and the sci-fi picture "The Lost City" (1935) with William Stage Boyd. He also appeared in the Bill Cody western "Blazing Justice" (1936) and the Rex Lease western "Custer's Last Stand" (1936). His film career continued throughout the thirties in productions like the western "Pinto Rustlers" (1936) with Tom Tyler, "The Black Coin" (1936) and "The Clutching Hand" (1936). He also appeared in the western "Bar-Z Bad Men" (1937) with Johnny Mack Brown and "Mystery Range" (1937). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the Gene Autry musical "Public Cowboy No. 1" (1937), "The Old Corral" (1937) and "Gold Mine in the Sky" (1938). He also appeared in "Buzzy and the Phantom Pinto" (1941) with Dave O'Brien. Morante last acted in the western "West of the Law" (1942) with Buck Jones. Morante passed away in January 1964 at the age of 77.
