Blake Ritson launched his acting career at the tender age of 16. Ritson started off his acting career mostly in film roles, appearing in "Different for Girls" (1997) with Steven MacKintosh, the Anthony Hopkins dramatic adaptation "Titus" (1999) and the Matthew Leitch drama "AKA" (2003). He appeared in a number of television specials, including "Breaking the Code" (PBS, 1996-97) and "Shooting the Past" (PBS, 1999-2000). He also landed a role in the miniseries "The Inspector Lynley Mysteries, Series 6" (2007-08). He also starred in the TV movies "Mansfield Park" (PBS, 2007-08) and "God on Trial" (PBS, 2008-09). During these years, he also worked in film, earning a part in the crime feature "RocknRolla" (2008) with Gerard Butler. More recently, he tackled roles on "Upstairs, Downstairs" (PBS, 2010-13) and "Da Vinci's Demons" (Starz, 2012-). He also appeared in "Hyde Park On Hudson" (2012) with Bill Murray. He also had a part in the TV miniseries "World Without End" (2012-13). Ritson most recently acted in the dramatic adaptation "Serena" (2015) with Bradley Cooper.
