Leon Redbone brought his musical talents to a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. Redbone's career began in reality television, landing spots on such shows as "Saturday Night Live" (NBC, 1975-) and "Life Goes On" (ABC, 1989-1993). He also landed roles in various films, such as the drama "Candy Mountain" (1988) with Kevin O'Connor. Redbone also contributed music to the crime flick "The Big Fix" (1978) with Richard Dreyfuss and "Mr. Belvedere" (ABC, 1984-1990). In the nineties, Redbone devoted his time to various credits, such as "Everybody Wins" with Debra Winger (1990), "Harry and the Hendersons" and "The Washing Machine Man" (Showtime, 1991-92). He also worked on "Promised Land" (CBS, 1996-99). Redbone's music was also a part of the Michael Richards comedy "Trial and Error" (1997), the comedy adventure "Me, Myself and Irene" (2000) with Jim Carrey and the Adam Sandler smash hit romantic comedy "50 First Dates" (2004). Redbone's music was most recently featured in the comedy "You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger" (2010) with Anthony Hopkins. In addition to his music, Redbone also appeared on-screen in the Will Ferrell box office smash comedic fantasy "Elf" (2003). ...
