Funny, vivacious, full of vim and vinegar, sexy and cute as a button. And I absolutely loved her shoes, I even had a couple of pairs in the 70s made by Goody Two Shoes. I would love to see a Carmen Miranda marathon if TCM has all her movies available for show.

My husband & I discovered Carmen many years ago but just recently were able to obtain some of her work through TCM. She had such a versatility that culminated in an explosion of joy for anyone who knows her. I so wish that more of her work will be made available by TCM. Her talent, her gifts, her color, her entire being deserves to be remembered for many, many more decades to come. May God continue to bless her testimony & her family. I Yi Yi Yi Like Her Very Much, and I thinks she's grand!

She was so awesome....as a young person today its weird to find other people who enjoy classic movies as i do.....I watched oldies as a kid and loved them....i fell in love with them...one actress who impressed me was Carmen Miranda....She just made you want to get up and dance around the room....she was sassy and very cool...i just love her....
