MGM had a list of great contract star in the 60's: George Peppard, Paula Prentiss, Jim Hutton, Richard Chamberlain, George Hamilton and this beautiful star. TCM should list Ms. Mimieux's great MGM films on the left of this bio such as Time Machine, Where The Boys Are, Joy In the Morning, Skyjacked, as well as Diamond Head a Columbia film on loanout from MGM. A memorable Mimieux film is Light In the Piazza. Ms. Mimieux worked with Richard Chamberlain, Paula Prentiss, Jim Hutton, Olivia De Havilland Charlton Heston, Geraldine Page, Dean Martin, Rod Taylor in a very fine film career.

I am an avid viewer of TCM and my family knows this but, do not watch much them selfs being younger ?or they just prefer new splashy movies and T.V. Today though one of them was glued to the T.V and I saw it was 'The time machine" he said hehad never seen this version he said he had seen a more recent version, but he said to me how much he liked it and asked me the name of the actress I told him i thought it was Yvette Mimieux anyway he said he thought she was the most beautiful actress he ever seen in old movies.I was just glad that one of them was really liked and watched a movie on MY station. And yvette mimiex is very lovely.
