An actress best known for her supporting role as Tina in the first season of the sci-fi/fantasy series "Heroes," Deirdre Quinn has primarily appeared on television. The Pennsylvania native studied acting in college and was featured in her first screen role in a bit part on the mid-1990s soap opera "The City," starring Morgan Fairchild, followed by a brief turn on the comedy show "Apt. 2F." Quinn's career picked up steam in 2000, when she had appearances on two crime series, "Diagnosis Murder" and "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," and portrayed the younger version of the character played by Maureen O'Hara in the made-for-TV movie "The Last Dance." Her highlight of the year, however, was her film role as beauty-pageant contestant Miss Texas in the comedy "Miss Congeniality," starring Sandra Bullock. After a supporting part in the horror-tinged TV movie, "The Diary of Ellen Rimbauer," based on a Stephen King tale, Quinn eventually joined the cast of "Heroes," appearing as the friend of Niki Sanders, the troubled character played by Ali Larter.
