This executive and producer was long associated with CBS in various administrative capacities and later had a hand in creating, producing and writing a variety of projects for both network and syndicated TV. David Percelay cut his producing teeth with such projects as the main titles for the "CBS Morning News" and election coverage in 1984. After a stint as station manager of CBS' flagship station KCBS in Los Angeles, he earned credits writing episodes of "Hunter" and "Hard Time on Planet Earth" and producing or executive producing episodes of "Hard Copy" and such TV-movies as "New Blood" and "Gainesville". Percelay later became a managing partner at Jacobs & Gerber Entertainment, developing series and miniseries for TV and overseeing promotional material for such successful films as "The Prince of Tides" (1991) and "A League of Their Own" (1992). In 1993, he joined Scripps Howard Productions as President and CEO, with responsibilities for overseeing the company's acquisition, creation, development, production and marketing of all entertainment and reality-based programming.
