A comic book writer falls into a coma after a car accident and wakes up in the make-believe world he created.

Kazaam (1996)
Max Conner's world is in a serious tailspin. He's a skeptical young city kid who doesn't believe in anything that can't be easily explained. And his life is filled with one unexplainable event after another. However, everything changes one afternoon when he's chased by a gang of bullies through a condemned warehouse. There, while evading these tough guys, he accidentally knocks over a boom box--out from which emerges a huge and powerful 3,000-year-old genie named Kazaam. After a series of adventures together, Max and Kazaam become an inseparable--albeit unlikely--team. Though Kazaam's a bit irritated about being disturbed from the comfort of his other-worldly home, he soon discovers some of the pleasures of being conjured to the 20th century. He becomes a rap music superstar, falls in love, and just when Max needs him the most, Kazaam calls upon all the powers at his disposal to help his new friend out of some big trouble.

After three days in space, Apollo astronauts Jim Lovell, Fred Haise, and Jack Swigert finally approach their long-cherished destination, when suddenly their spacecraft's power and guidance systems go down--and the supply of oxygen begins to dwindle. The trio now face a grim reality: their crippled capsule, stranded 205,000 miles in space, might never return to earth. With time running out, the crew and thousands of others, including flight director Gene Kranz, brave near-impossible odds in a daring attempt to guide the capsule earthward.

It's drugs in southern CA with cop partners Mel Gibson and Danny Glover chasing sleazy dope dealers in a nonstop crime actioner. Roger Murtaugh, who is about to turn 50, exercises the kind of life-preserving caution that Martin Riggs has discarded. Riggs' wife has been killed in an accident, and he doesn't care whether he lives or dies, just so long as he can take all the bad guys with him. Murtaugh has a hard time surviving with such a self-destructive partner as they investigate "The General" , head of a drug smuggling operation.

Dracula: Dead and Loving It (1995)
Count Dracula, the Prince of Darkness, is dead and he's loving it but he's also in for some ego-puncturing problems and horrific surprises never encountered by Bela Lugosi or Gary Oldman. On Dracula's bumpy quest for blood, the blundering bloodsucker exhibits a dazzling and hilarious array of supernatural magic, including flying, superhuman falls, hanging upside-down, clinging to the ceiling, long-distance hypnosis, shadows with a mind of their own, and morphing into an accident-prone bat. Meanwhile, the immortal count's mortal enemy, Dr. Van Helsing, a brilliant professor of weird phenomena and world-famous vampire hunter, is busily masterminding the plan to expose and corner the bloodsucker who has infiltrated London's high society.
