John Megna began acting at the tender age of ten. Early on, Megna mostly landed roles in various films, including the dramatic adaptation "To Kill a Mockingbird" (1962) with Gregory Peck, the Bette Davis horror flick "Hush ... Hush, Sweet Charlotte" (1964) and the comedic adaptation "Blindfold" (1966) with Rock Hudson. He worked in television in his early acting career, including a part on "Star Trek" (1966-69). He also appeared in the TV special "Hollywood High" (1976-77). He also appeared in "Go Tell the Spartans" (1978) during these years. He also starred in the TV movies "I Want to Keep My Baby!" (1976-77) and "The Boy in the Plastic Bubble" (1976-77). Megna focused on film in more recent years, appearing in the William Katt comedy "Butch and Sundance: The Early Days" (1979) and "The Cannonball Run" (1981) with Burt Reynolds. He also was featured in the TV movie "Skag" (1979-1980). Megna last acted in "The Ratings Game" (1984). John Megna passed away in September 1995 at the age of 43.
