Nana Palsikar was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Palsikar's career beginnings included film roles in "Shree 420" (1955) with Nargis, the foreign "Phir Subah Hogi" (1958) with Raj Kapoor and the family "Main Chup Rahungi" (1962) with Meena Kumari. Palsikar made film her next project, appearing in the Ashok Kumar foreign "Gumrah" (1963), the drama "The Guru" (1969) with Utpal Dutt and the drama "Prem Parvat" (1973) with Satish Kaul. She also appeared in the Rajesh Khanna drama "Prem Nagar" (1974). Later in her career, Palsikar acted in "Aakrosh" (1980).
