COMPLETE FILMOGRAPHY WITH SYNOPSIS
Cast (feature film)
A profile of the traditional blues musicians of the Mississippi Delta region.
The Civil War is over and the west offers unlimited opportunities for the adventurous. Yet the celebration is short-lived for Caleb Revers, a black veteran trying to plant roots under the scorching sun of the Arizona frontier. A kindly neighbor gives Revers a horse to help plow the land and support his wife and their precocious 12 year-old son, Billy. But town bigots resent a black man owning a horse and the stallion is stolen. So, Revers and his son embark on a dangerous mission to get it back. The murderous horse thief, an archrival from Rever's past, and a crazed sheriff are among many hostile obstacles which force young Billy to grow up fast.
A would-be censor's brother produces a Broadway show with a controversial star.

Ray Winkler is a meek, addle-brained ex-convict who decides to rob a bank to support the spending habits of his ex-stripper, New Jersey wife, Frenchy. To do so, Ray and his inept accomplices, Denny, Benny and Tommy, rent a vacant store next to a bank and set up a false storefront with the hopes of tunneling from the basement into the bank. While they bumble below ground trying to avoid water mains and other subterranean hazards, Frenchy turns the store upstairs into a thriving cookie shop. Suddenly the Winkers find themselves richer than they could ever imagine and rising up the social ladder at a speed that does not quite fit their tastes.
