Born: George Reuben, April 15, 1884 Minsk, Russia
Died: December 3, 1945 Hollywood, CA
McKay started his career as a bareback rider with a circus and later toured vaudeville with Gus Edwards' troupe. He also appeared for three years in the Ziegfeld Follies (1913 15). In 1933, he signed with Columbia Pictures and played numerous supporting and bit roles. McKay was one of the founders of the National Vaudeville Artists organization.
