  I've enjoyed every movie I've watched with Joel McCrea in it, to many to name. His acting was so good & natural that you would actually forget he was acting. Very stunning, very witted n so believable, so real. And above all this, Very Handsome. :) Wish he could of gotten the Credit that he so deserves. Certainly was one of the best in his area of time n even now. <3

• One of the most underrated actors

  I enjoy watching a number of his movies especially Foreign Correspondent and The Palm Beach Story. He is yet another reason I wished I was born and lived or better yet been able to work in the movies during Hollywood's Golden Age.

  Joel McCrea easily one of the most under-rated actors ever! I always watch any movie he was in.. he had class, much like Randolph Scott and lent it to any production he was in. He deserves a marathon on TCM..

  Joel McCrea is one handsome, talented actor who I don't think received as much attention as he should have. He has a wonderful screen presence and I'm happy that TCM has highlighted his work on occasion. I would love to see him as one of your private screenings subjects. He is fabulous in Foreign Correspondent, a great movie and in so many others. Great to look at, too.

  I just watched More the Merrier with Joel McCrea and I thought was one of the most charming movies ever made. Joel McCrea was wonderful in the movie.

  Joel McCrea falls into the category of fantastic actors of the golden era that have been forgotten or overlooked by today's movie watchers. His work from westerns to dramas to comedies is consistantly excellent and deserves more praise than it receives.

  Out of all the many great actors/actress the "golden age" gave us, few others were more "golden" than Joel McCrea.
