BIOGRAPHY

Charles McAvoy was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. McAvoy's career beginnings included film roles in "Badge of Honor" (1934) and "Miss Fane's Baby Is Stolen" (1934). McAvoy made film his next project, appearing in the crime adaptation "Murder at the Vanities" (1934) with Carl Brisson and the mystery "The Dark Mirror" (1946) with Olivia de Havilland. Later in his career, McAvoy acted in the crime flick "The Velvet Touch" (1948) with Rosalind Russell.
