Biography CLOSE THE FULL BIOGRAPHY

Canadian actress Brooke Nevin first shot to prominence in the 1998 Showtime movie "Running Wild," an African adventure set on the plains of Zimbabwe. Her performance won her an accolade from the Young Artist Awards. A decade later, she was nominated in the odd-sounding Daytime Emmy Awards category ⿿New Approaches⿝ for her work on "Imaginary Bitches." The category is actually one that honors Internet series and other new-media storytelling ventures; this one was the story of a lonely girl who has a coterie of imaginary friends. In 2010, Nevin scored a regular role on the Canadian TV series "Call Me Fitz," about a car salesman forced to follow a new path. The lead role of the salesman was played by fellow Canuck Jason Priestley, formerly a star of the hit TV show "Beverly Hills 90210." Nevin, like many Canadian actresses, divides her time between Canada and the United States Her many American TV credits include a seven-episode 2004-06 arc as Nikki Hudson on "The 4400," and guest appearances on "Grey's Anatomy" and "NCIS." Nevin's first major role was on the Nickelodeon series "Animorphs."
