I believe this was Brenda Marshalls' finest film. She was magical and the charisma of Errol Flynn helped bring out the very best in her acting. After a short time it seemed as if they weren't acting and the whole relationship on screen was normal and She was so beautiful in the film. The onscreen persona was as fine as you'll see from Errol and Brenda. This is in Errols top 5 films. Brenda and Errol seemed right for onscreen romance...it was so natural. The way she defended him in "Footsteps In The Dark" told me she enjoyed working with him. I believe Errol appreciated her in films, she was so natural and beautiful.
