After seeing the Feature Film "Wide Open", starring Edward Everett Horton, I went to the internet to seek out information about Louise Beavers. I was surprised to find little or no information about the movie in the usual search engines, that is until I came to the TCM web page. Thank you for having useful information, giving some insight as Beavers acting, atmosphere to have worked in and ability of apersonality that allowed her to maintain a working personage. Sadly, it appears the stress finally got the best of her. Such a loss of talent and vehicle of so little tapped source. I found it disappointing that this film "Wide Open ", not listed as reference in the listing of "Feature Films", especially since Beavers role ("Easter") having so many lines and many appearances in the film. I guess the only reward was induction into the "Hall" years later is the best recognition she could hope for even now! I do however, thank TCM for having the courage to include such a star!
