Jo Dee Messina's music and lyrics made her a star in the country music genre. Messina worked on a variety of projects during her early entertainment career, including "Beach Country Christmas" (The Nashville Network, 1996-97), "Nash Bridges" (CBS, 1995-2001) and "Rock 'n' Roll Skating Championship" (Fox, 1996-97). She also contributed to "TNN Music City News Country Awards" (The Nashville Network, 1996-97), "The 32nd Annual Country Music Association Awards" (CBS, 1998-99) and "The 33rd Annual Academy of Country Music Awards" (CBS, 1997-98). In the nineties, Messina devoted her time to various credits, such as "The 34th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards" (CBS, 1998-99), "Grand Ole Opry Live" (The Nashville Network, 1999-2000) and "The 33rd Annual Country Music Association Awards" (CBS, 1999-2000). She also worked on "The WB Radio Music Awards" (WB, 1999-2000).
