Michael Maloney was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Early on in his acting career, Maloney landed roles in various films, including the drama "Richard's Things" (1981) with Liv Ullmann, the mystery "Ordeal By Innocence" (1985) with Donald Sutherland and "Sharma and Beyond" (1986) with Suzanne Burden. He also appeared in "La Maschera" (1988) and "Henry V" (1989). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like "A Midwinter's Tale" (1996), "Hysteria" (1997) with Patrick McGoohan and the Emma De Caunes dramedy "Sans plomb" (2000). He also appeared in the comedy "Twelfth Night, Or What You Will" (2003) with Parminder Nagra. More recently, he continued to act in "Babel" (2006), the Judi Dench dramatic adaptation "Notes on a Scandal" (2006) and the Emily Blunt historical romance "The Young Victoria" (2009). He also appeared in the biographical drama "The Iron Lady" (2011) with Meryl Streep and the romance "Summer in February" (2014) with Dominic Cooper. Maloney most recently acted on "River" (Netflix, 2015-).
