Norman Macowan was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Macowan began his career with a role in the Stewart Granger adaptation "Footsteps in the Fog" (1955). Macowan then began to rack up a number of film credits, including roles in "Tread Softly Stranger" (1958) with Diana Dors and "Horror Hotel" (1960) with Patricia Jessel. Later in his career, Macowan acted in the adaptation "Kidnapped" (1960) with Peter Finch. Macowan passed away in December 1961 at the age of 84.
