One of the very best in Movie history

In 1950's, 1960's and 1070's Pre-Revolution Iran, she was one of the best; line-ups for her movies. Talented, resourceful, funny, beautiful, and much much more, specially being the sister of Waren Beaty. THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES.

I particularly liked her in Hitchcock's "The Trouble with Harry". She had a warm and impish screen persona.

I am by no means a Chirley MaClaine expert, but I think there are a few movies left out of her bio. I do realize there is a restriction on space, but really. One of my most favorite is "The Children's Hour" If memory serves me correctly, 1961 with Audrey Hepburn.

Shirley MacLaine is one of my favorite actresses. I went crazy over her after seeing her memorable and heartbreaking performance in The Apartment (not to mention being incredibly beautiful). She is extremely talented that ranges from romantic comedies to dramas to musicals. Shirley is perhaps underappreciated these days, but she remains one of the very best actresses of her era.

I may be mistaken but thought I first saw her in a bit part in a Martin & Lewis film.But ssaw her starring in Some Came Running and I was stuck. Not only a great actress but I fell in love with the most perfect face I had ever seen. Her eyes, lips, nose and every part of her facial features seemed perfect. Today, I'm a Great Grandaddy but I have never lost my love for Shirley Maclaine.
