Actor William Lucas appeared in a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. In his early acting career, Lucas appeared in such films as the Ray Milland action flick "High Flight" (1958), the Orson Welles crime drama "Crack in the Mirror" (1960) and the dramatic adaptation "Sons and Lovers" (1960) with Trevor Howard. He also appeared in "Horror On Snape Island" (1972) with Bryant Haliday. His film career continued throughout the seventies and the eighties in productions like the drama "Man at the Top" (1973) with Kenneth Haigh and "Operation Daybreak" (1975). He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "The Adventures of Black Beauty" (1972). Toward the end of his career, he tackled roles in the Nick Nolte drama "Weeds" (1987) and the comedy sequel "Weekend at Bernie's II" (1993) with Andrew McCarthy. Lucas's distinctive voice can be heard on "The Plague Dogs" (1982). Most recently, Lucas acted in "The Marked One" (2010).
