Actor William Lucas was known for his roles on the silver screen. Lucas kickstarted his acting career in various films such as the Ray Milland action flick "High Flight" (1958), the crime drama "Crack in the Mirror" (1960) with Orson Welles and the Trevor Howard dramatic adaptation "Sons and Lovers" (1960). He also appeared in "Horror On Snape Island" (1972). He continued to act in productions like "Man at the Top" (1973) with Kenneth Haigh and "Operation Daybreak" (1975). He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "The Adventures of Black Beauty" (1972). During the latter part of his career, he continued to act in the drama "Weeds" (1987) with Nick Nolte and the Andrew McCarthy comedy sequel "Weekend at Bernie's II" (1993). Lucas' distinctive voice can be heard on "The Plague Dogs" (1982). Lucas last acted in "The Marked One" (2010).
