Footsteps in the Fog's Director Arthur Lubin
- Michelle Stevenson-Willis
- 2010-10-09
If you would like any informattion about my uncle, Arthur Lubin, please let me know at my e-mail address (included). I was thrilled to see him in a silent film on a Sunday night. I have albums he made as a young boy, under 20 I'd say, that include pictures of him directing school plays, Shakespeare, all in costume! He was a born director. I share the same birth date (except the year) with my uncle. If there is anything to horoscopes it was evident we were "born under the same stars." He was credited with the best Phantom of the Opera, and was a genuine addition to the Universal lot from the early days. Mr Ed is another legacy he left that we enjoy to this day. Everyone loves Mr. Ed. I remember him talking about development of the property, he so wanted clean, fun entertainment for families. Thank you for showing Inc. Mr. Limpet, Footsteps in the Fog and some of his lesser known accomplishments. He loved TCM as do I. Thank you again, Michelle
