    Much beloved Actor of the 30's, 40's and 50's. Could play extremely gentle or boisterous types. Judges ,Doctors, Lawyers or a wide variety of Gentlemen. Most famous as the Judge who put Santa Claus on trial in "The Miracle on 34th Street." Father to June Lockhart. Also famous as Bob Cratchit,father to Tiny Tim in "A Christmas Carol" of the 1930's. Terrific Actor.

    gene lockhart is a very fine and and un rewarded actor for many years he has played rolls that enhanced many a movie .wwith out him in these rolls the movies would have changed.they dont make them like they used to!
