Biography CLOSE THE FULL BIOGRAPHY

A beautiful blonde world-class dancer, Julianne Hough used her "Dancing with the Stars" (ABC, 2005- ) fame to high-kick her way to a triple-threat career. After winning the competition reality show twice - first with Olympian speed skater Apolo Anton Ohno; followed by auto racing legend Hélio Castroneves - she recorded a self-titled country album that sold well and earned two Academy of Country Music Awards: Top New Female Vocalist and Top New Artist. The cheerful charmer who reminded many of a younger, "When Harry Met Sally"-era Meg Ryan, booked several commercials and two high-profile film roles in "Burlesque" (2010) and "Footloose" (2011) while continuing to pursue country music. Ambitious and focused, Hough applied the same discipline and drive she used to attain her amazing athleticism to all branches of her entertainment career.
