BIOGRAPHY

Bawdy, brash vaudeville star who made a brief splash in films in the early talkie era. Lightner was signed by Warner Brothers after making a hit on Broadway in "The Gold Diggers". She appeared in about a dozen films before retiring in the early 1930s.
